The study investigated principals’ students’ support services as predictors of student-friendly environment in public secondary schools in Anambra State, Nigeria. The study was guided by four research questions and four null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. A correlational research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised 13,765 senior secondary school two (SSS 2) students in the 269 public secondary schools in Anambra State. The sample size for this study consisted of 1,378 SSS 2 students drawn using proportionate stratified sampling technique. Two sets of instruments titled ‘‘Students’ Support Services Questionnaire (SSSQ)’’ and ‘‘Student-Friendly Environment Scale (SFES)’’ were used for data collection. The instruments were face validated by three experts, two from the Department of Educational Management and Policy, and one from the Department of Educational Foundations in Measurement and Evaluation Unit, Faculty of Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Cronbach alpha method was used for a test of internal consistency of the instruments which yielded overall coefficients of 0.80 for SSSQ and 0.82 for SFES respectively. The researcher, together with ten research assistants, collected data for the study using the direct approach method and 98% return was recorded. Simple regression was used to answer the research questions and test hypotheses. The findings of the study revealed among others that principals’ guidance and counselling, safety and health services are strong and significant predictors of student-friendly environment in public secondary schools in Anambra State. Further result showed that principals’ library services are moderate and significant predictors of student-friendly environment in public secondary schools in Anambra State. Based on the findings, it was recommended, among others, that principals should train selected learners as peer leaders responsible for encouraging and sensitizing students on the need to utilize available library services for fostering student-friendly environment in secondary schools
